Our vision is never conventional
Obama's faces
By Gisella Sorrentino
I took these portraits during the election night in Chicago on November 4th 2008. People waited to enter in Grant Park since 2pm. There were 225.000 people: young and old, rich and poor, gay and straight, disabled and not disabled, black, white, Hispanic, Asian and Native American. The atmosphere was serene, the air fresh, the vitality high. During that night it seemed that a new generation of people joined again the lost ideals of democracy of US. There was no place for disenchantment. | ||
